A note from Teagan Lowe Coaching…

My time spent as a principal artist with Australia’s leading companies: Sydney Dance Company, The Australian Ballet Company & Opera Australia, has given me a broad scope of knowledge, with a real attention and focus on classical ballet technique as well as freedom of movement that comes from exploring contemporary dance and many other genres of elite performance.

During my career I have also had the opportunity to hold the role of Associate Artistic Director / Rehearsal Director for Mod Dance Company (under the guidance of Graeme Murphy AO and Brett Morgan OA). This has allowed me to develop leadership skills and perform administrative duties which led to liaison with many Arts industry professionals.

I have also held the title of Dance Captain with Opera Australia and have nurtured small to extremely large scale productions from their conception and rehearsal period through to the maintenance of high performance levels. Additionally, I have coached classical and contemporary classes (at both part-time and full-time dance institutions), mentored, conducted workshops & adjudicated across Australia and the USA.

I am a long standing, passionate member of the Performing Arts Industry. Throughout my career I have been committed to nurturing new talent, promoting excellence and supporting initiatives that create improved access to the Arts for all. Over an extensive career I have demonstrated my capacity to operate in an environment that is fast-paced and demands high-performance; I have been able to take on new roles with passion and vigour.

While I do have extensive training in dance, I have had multiple opportunities to develop my organisational, training and health skills across all levels of theatre production, TV, movies, festivals, award ceremonies, sports platforms and elite training institutions. I value integrity, respect, excellence and teamwork. I embrace change and welcome new opportunities for personal growth and self-development.

I strive to promote elite performance and training in a safe environment and take pride in supporting all upcoming and established artists, athletes, performers and anyone who wishes to improve their career prospects. I aim to provide each client with the skills required to excel in their chosen career or training pathway. I respect each individual's performance quality, personality, abilities, talents and strengths/weaknesses and use this to nurture unique, personalised development in an honest and pure way.
